Dr. Armin Mehrabian is the Principal Data Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES-DISC), bringing extensive expertise in data science to the role. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has furthered his education with a Master’s and PhD in Computer Engineering.
Armin’s professional interests are centered around machine learning, neuromorphic computing, and high-performance computing, fields in which he has made numerous noteworthy contributions. He applies his specialized skills at NASA GES-DISC to analyze and interpret intricate datasets, enhancing understanding and application of data science within the organization.
In addition to his contributions at NASA, Armin also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at George Washington University. This position allows him to disseminate his academic and professional knowledge to aspiring engineers and scientists, contributing to the development of future professionals in the field. It also enables him to stay informed about the most recent advancements and theories in his swiftly evolving field.
