Dr. Fernando Ortiz-Rodriguez is a Professor at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas), and a Research Advisor at the The National Council INDEX (Index Nacional – Manufactura de Exportación). He possesses a highly decorated educational background including a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Information Technology Administration, and four PHD degrees in subjects such as Business Strategy (Gestion Estrategica de Negocios), Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, as well as Business Information Systems.

Fernando’s professional interests include domains such as e-government, legal, manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture, fields in which he has made numerous noteworthy contributions. He applies his specialized knowledge working for the Mexican government as well as with corporations focused on manufacturing.

Apart from his roles as an educator and advisor, Fernando has taken on the role of an organizer in numerous conferences. This responsibility empowers him to share his academic and professional expertise with up-and-coming scholars and practitioners, actively nurturing the growth of future professionals within the discipline. Furthermore, this role keeps him well-informed about the latest advancements and theories in his dynamically evolving field.
